He is the son of a nine-time MP and a three-time MP himself. How much more empowerment does he need?
He has wealth, power, and political clout, so why does he continue to contest from reserved seats? Why not fight from an open seat? By monopolizing a reserved constituency, isn't he actively preventing a less privileged Dalit brother or sister from his party from entering Parliament?
And he isn't alone. There are many like him in every field. This argument is not a conspiracy by the GCs; they gain nothing either way. It is a question of internal accountability. Your own influential elites are holding the broader community back by refusing to step aside. So Dalits should start asking questions about where the real issue lies, instead of blaming GCs for their lack of opportunities.

India lacks a functioning concept of conflict of interest in governance.
The father is pushing ethanol blending as aggressive national policy, while the son’s company reaps extraordinary profits after entering the ethanol sector.
In any mature democracy, the father would have stepped down the moment his son joined a business tied to his ministry, to simply avoid the appearance of impropriety.
Even if both are entirely honest, the optics are damning. Yet there is no uproar: the opposition stays silent since their own leaders’ companies benefit from the ethanol boom, and ordinary citizens who raise questions can simply be dismissed as oil-lobby trolls. A sad state of affairs!
Delhi's Aerocity is a perfect example of what's possible if you remove the corruption and lethargy of sarkari system from the equation.
The place is spotless, wide, smooth roads, proper sidewalks, neat greenery, uniform signage, no overflowing garbage, no random encroachment, everything feels planned and functional.
Why? Because it isn’t cursed with our great municipal system. It’s privately managed, with efficient upkeep, accountable staff, and infrastructure built for lasting quality, not temporary fixes. And perhaps there lies the real answer to our civic woes.
Another pothole death, this time in Bhiwandi. Standard pattern:
You’re riding your bike through monsoon-soaked roads. Puddles hide deep, jagged potholes, too many to avoid, too many to check.
So you drive regardless, hoping for the best. Then, one pothole, unseen, uneven, catches you. You wobble. You struggle to stay upright. The vehicle behind has no time to react. It crushes you. End of your story and beginning of horror for your family.
Every year, 3,000–4,000 people in India die in pothole-related accidents, ten times more than dengue kills, but it barely gets a fraction of that attention. All these deaths are preventable, if only our administration do their job honestly. But nobody cares, including most of us. It has become part of life.
We aspire to be a developed country in the next two decades, yet people keep dying in ways that are entirely avoidable. In the developed world, even a minor pothole injury triggers lawsuits, and local authorities pay dearly. Yaha aap ek baal nahi ukhaad sakte.
One final appeal!
Requesting Shri @narendramodi, if blood and water cannot flow together, lets not allow cricket to suggest they can. Stop India from playing Pakistan in the Asia Cup.
As standards of living rise, Indians are travelling abroad, seeing what well-planned infrastructure looks like and they want it at home. The old ways won’t work on a generation that has glimpsed the future.
Sumanlata, 21 and pregnant, last spoke to her husband Shailendra, an auto driver in Gurugram, at 8.19 pm on July 9.
He told her he was dropping off a passenger and would be home soon. Around 9 pm, she called again. He didn’t answer. She kept calling, hundreds of times, but he never picked up.
Hours passed. Anxious, Sumanlata went to their landlord, Babulal, for help, who went to the police to report Shailendra missing.
The next morning, some delivery riders passing by found Shailendra’s body in an open sewer in Sector 47. That night, while trying to navigate a waterlogged street, his auto fell into the open manhole and overturned, throwing him inside.
Shailendra had moved to Gurugram from Kannauj five years ago. Here, he’d built a life in Sector 9, earning a steady income to support his family.
In a civilised country, his wife could sue the municipality for gross negligence and get millions in compensation to secure her and the children’s future, maybe even press for criminal negligence so the careless face jail. But in India, aap ek baal nahi ukhaad sakte, na sarkar ka, na sarkari aadmi ka.
Person A drives responsibly, follows guidelines, gets regular servicing and maintenance.
Person B drives recklessly, ignores maintenance, and the car ends up in terrible shape.
Yet, in the Republic of India, both are treated the same. Once a car hits 10 or 15 years, it’s deemed unfit, regardless of how well it's maintained or how clean it runs. So where’s the incentive for being a model citizen?
If age alone decides a car's fate, why bother with PUC? No car ever fails it anyway, even those belching black smoke somehow pass. At the very least, stop this PUC farce if cars are to be scrapped based purely on age, regardless of their emission status. This is nothing but institutionalized extortion, a system that punishes the responsible.
Because the govt failed to weed out polluting vehicles through robust PUC enforcement, it’s now hiding that failure behind a blanket age-based ban. It’s NCR today, the whole country tomorrow.

Honestly, that's ok. Choosing to stay despite opportunities abroad is fine. Leaving because you have the resources is also fine.
India is a great historical land, but since independence, it has adopted a system that panders to the mob—a mob that resists growth, avoids work, thrives on oppression, and survives on freebies.
The 2% of you who fund everyone’s welfare can’t change this country. Why? Because you’re just 2%. You don’t matter enough. Those who live off socialist schemes funded by your taxes are the overwhelming majority. That’s why they matter. Did you know a convicted criminal out on bail can vote in India? That person’s vote carries the same weight in the electoral system as yours—a law-abiding, tax-paying citizen who dreams of making India the best in the world.
Our electoral priorities revolve around hamare samaaj ko uchit samman nahi mila, hamare mahapurush ka apmaan hua, freebies, reservations, hamari jaat ka neta CM bane, and even more freebies. Issues like pollution, health, and education? Barely a thought. And why blame the politicians when the masses couldn’t care less about them?
Under its current governance system, India won’t go too far. I pray I’m wrong. But let’s be honest—most kids and grandkids of politicians (across all parties), bureaucrats, and judges are studying, working, or settling abroad. Perhaps they know something we don’t.
I’ve played with you for 14 years and when you told me today you’re retiring, it made me a bit emotional and the flashbacks of all those years playing together came to me. I’ve enjoyed every bit of the journey with you ash, your skill and match winning contributions to Indian cricket are second to none and you will always and always be remembered as a legend of Indian cricket. Wish you nothing but the best in your life with your family and everything else that it unfolds for you. With massive respect and lots of love to you and your close ones. Thanks for everything buddy.❤️🇮🇳 @ashwinravi99
