This Palestinian brilliant kid was a victim of a hate crime in Vermont .
I just landed in Boston today for shows in Arabic and in English . Hisham’s family reached to my agents telling me about his story and how he and two of his friends were shot because they were putting on the Palestinian Kefeya and were speaking Arabic . Hisham now has a bullet in his spine making him unable to walk . Hisham is a brilliant student with a double major of mathematics and archaeology at Brown University @BrownUniversity . Even when he is in the hospital he is still nerding out on school. Those who have been taking about hate crime in the states , well here is one of them. How many news outlet have been speaking about this . HIsham wanted to come to my shows . We are trying one more time with his doctors and of course there are some security concerns but we are trying to talk to the police and the city for that . Hope he can come to both my Arabic show at the @TheChevalierMA Theater on the 5th and the English show at the @The_Wilbur Theater and I hope these two theaters can accommodate him that’s why I tagged them .
أنا لسه واصل بوسطن النهاردة . جالي طلب من أسرة هشام اني أزوره في المستشفى لانه مش حيقدر يحضر العروض بتاعتي هنا . أنا كان ليا الشرف اني اقعد و اتكلم مع هشام . هشام طالب فلسطيني كان لابس الحطة الفلسطينية مع اتنين اصدقاءه و بيتكلموا عربي. وواحد ضرب عليهم النار . هشام أصيب برصاصة في عموده الفقري و بسبب ده مش قادر يمشي . هشام بيدرس رياضيات و اثار في جامعة براون و برضة مش قادر يبطل إلا انه يكون دحاح كبير . اتمنى اننا نقدر نحاول مع الأطباء بتوعه انهم يقدروا يخلوه يحضر العرض و احنا بنحاول مع البوليس و سلطات المدينة عشان الامور الامنية . العرض العربي في الشفاليه و الإنجليزي في ويلبر و عملنا تاج ليهم عشان يقدروا يساعدوا انهم يخلوا تجربته في المشاهدة تجربة جيدة .
