Did you know that Sunil Hadunnethti once was in custody under JVP.  JVP held him captive and only allowed him to go to parliament in 2008. He was planning to flee the country after getting disappointed with JVP, but his wife tipped about this to party. As per JVP rules, party decides the couple to marry, and they need to inform about partner’s actions to party. Sunil’s wife is in the photo which was taken by Sunil. She was showing displeasure for his actions by putting a plaster.
Those days JVP was accused of plotting to kill Sunil Handunetti. @anuradisanayake was the leader of the JVP parliamentary group in 2008.
