Mr. OP Singh recently retired as DGP Haryana Police. He was not appointed as DGP by the government's choice, but due to fate and circumstances- an IG committed suicide and the incumbent DGP was forced to go on leave. Initially, I found him somewhat unimpressive and someone who overreached. However, to cut the story short,he did remarkably well in a short time. He emphasised changing the police mindset rather than getting involved in drama and rhetoric. Anyway, Haryana Police is now back to its usual self.
I completely agree with him- the behaviour of the little bureaucrats in the government department is among the worst you can encounter. Unfortunately, you can't bypass them. They implement the rules made by the brightest minds and interpret them according to their limited IQ. It is this 85% breed that enables the officer class of their department to live like nawabs, which reflects the colonial mindset we often discuss. They accept or reject submissions or appeals at will. The officers are merely rubber stamps, signing whatever is presented to them initially. They are the primary reason why the government is the biggest litigant in court and loses most cases. The situation has become extremely serious now, as this group is fearless and unaccountable. Most of the government departments are redundant now. The technology can help you make driving licences, passports, birth certificates everything. India cannot develop till we kick these babus hard.
This deeply resonates with me. On Wednesday night I attended a small private dinner of some of Delhi's most influential businessmen. Over dinner we discussed Operation Sindoor and its aftermath. The lament was how in-spite of our success in that war, we lost the propaganda war : the global perception was that in spite of our victory Pakistan had prevailed in presenting a counter narrative.
The second refrain was GOI had failed to handle Donald Trump and dealt with him poorly. My view was that perception was immaterial and that governments of all countries had their own intelligence and knew the reality of Pakistan’s abject surrender.
Our response to the dastardly Pahalgam terror attack and our handling of Trump's arbitrary behaviour had earned the country worldwide respect for how we handled the issue of sovereignty.
Last night I read this article and I found the best articulation of a response to the PR v REALITY discomfort which educated elites feel.
Perception wars & genuflection before self obsessed leaders of powerful nations are an exercise in self intoxication & self preservation by weak and unstable nations whom the world treats with contempt. Standing up for sovereignty no matter what the cost is an exercise by a nation in exhibiting self confidence, cementing national security and is an announcement to the world that it is a global force to reckon with. Make No Mistake - India is only concerned with de facto internal and external security : not a PR created facade with a crumbling interior

SHIV IS THE SILENCE, SHAKTI IS THE SOUND❤️
Lets decode it :
Shiva is the state of Pure Awareness or consciousness ( Stillness ) and in Sanatana Dharma SHAKTI i.e Energy that creates and sustains the whole Cosmos and Universe.
Creating and sustaining of universe creates vibrations & Sounds as OM.
There are different form of Shakti i.e energies like magnetic, Solar and even Sound.
Creation itself is created from Light and Cosmic Vibration ( Sound).
Sound ( Shakti) emerges only when there is the presence of Silence ( Shiv ) Both are directly proportional to each other.
