Found another bug with EAC in-game on Steam. If you go AFK for a bit and leave the game running, you will end up with EAC “auth timeout” errors that pop up in the next online match you join and it will boot you. Upon re-joining, you will be unable to spawn in and the EAC auth will hang and ultimately fail or kick you for being inactive, creating an infinite loop that leads to sitting around for five minutes or taking the matchmaking ban for abandoning. Send them to a wallet and do the upgrade/migration. CB wallet was able to be used for both the input and output wallet when I upgraded last night. Here are the steps I followed:
1. Create a wallet in CB wallet
2. Send RNDR to new wallet ETH address
3. Link wallet ETH address to upgrade tool
4. Add wallet SOL address to tool (need to use a wallet plugin in browser)
5. Upgrade (will be two confirmations, I believe first is for the token allowance and second is for actually sending RNDR tokens for the upgrade)
6. Wait for 100 block confirmations on transaction and then RENDER will be deposited to SOL address - took about 20 minutes for me, but speed is dependant on the chain

It’s a 1:1 upgrade and isn’t a taxable event, so it seems like a no-brainer to upgrade imo

They’re de-listing the legacy ERC-20 token as is consistent with the developments and documentation within the project for months (years?) at this point.

@kberny @RENDER__DADDY Swap = taxable. Migration is 1:1 and does not constitute a taxable event. Use their official migration tool and it takes 20 minutes

@BChainCane @RENDER__DADDY The @rendernetwork migration tool is 1:1 and is fool-proof. Took me 20 minutes to migrate tonight and what’s more is the token migration is not a taxable event. Selling and rebuying is.
