Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Inspects Waterlogging Points

Sri Sunpreet Singh, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Cyberabad, along with Sri S. Ravikumar, DCP Traffic-I, and Sri G. Hanmantha Rao, Addl. DCP Traffic-I, visited the major waterlogging-prone locations at HCU Gate No. 2 and IIL U-Turn under the limits of Gachibowli Traffic Police Station.

During the inspection, the officers reviewed the ongoing rectification works and assessed the measures being taken to mitigate waterlogging and ensure smooth traffic movement during the monsoon season.

The Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) instructed the concerned officials to expedite the rectification works and maintain close coordination with the civic departments to minimize inconvenience to commuters and ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.

ఈ సందర్భంగా అధికారులు వర్షాకాలంలో నీటిమునిగే సమస్యను నివారించేందుకు చేపడుతున్న చర్యలను సమీక్షించి, ట్రాఫిక్ అంతరాయం లేకుండా సజావుగా సాగేందుకు అమలు చేస్తున్న ఏర్పాట్లను పరిశీలించారు.

జాయింట్ కమిషనర్ ఆఫ్ పోలీస్ (ట్రాఫిక్) సంబంధిత అధికారులకు పనులను వేగవంతంగా పూర్తి చేయాలని, అలాగే పౌర సంస్థలతో సమన్వయం చేసుకుని వర్షాకాలంలో ప్రయాణికులకు ఇబ్బందులు కలగకుండా, ట్రాఫిక్ సజావుగా మరియు సురక్షితంగా కొనసాగేలా అవసరమైన చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని ఆదేశించారు.

Hyderabad is facing a serious water problem🚨

Water tanker demand has reached around 20,000 bookings a day as groundwater levels continue to fall.

The worst-hit areas include Madhapur, Gachibowli, Kondapur, Kukatpally and Serilingampally, where many borewells are drying up and people are becoming more dependent on water tankers for daily needs.

If groundwater levels keep falling at this pace, water availability could become a bigger challenge for the city in the coming years.

With all the E20 Petrol now across India, noticing some issues in not so older cars, yes cars sold in the last 2-3 years are E20 compliant, but what about older cars @volklub

Is the Govt indirectly telling users not to buy Petrol cars as of now?

I have moved to EVs but reality is not everyone can do that and when ppl buy cars and keep them for 10-12 years so why force E20 Petrol on cars that are not designed for that engine, won’t it degrade those vehicles.
