The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Matthew Uwa.
Matthew is described as a 9-year-old boy with black hair and brown eyes. He is 4’9” tall and weighs about 90 lbs.
Matthew was last seen on June 1, 2026, at about 5 p.m., in the 1100 block of Templecliff Drive, wearing a green button up shirt with palm trees, green jogger pants, black slides, and has dreadlocks that are tied back.
Persons with information are asked to call the Police Department at 911 or (214) 671-4268.

@MikeBen86428283@drantbradley Of course they can't be overlooked. Just reminding the fact people are not stats. Meaning, they do not tell the whole outside of what they intend. Using stats to ignore other realities of the black experience allows one to overlook a people as a whole.
@kerynDG@drantbradley It is true, not of it will. It's similar to the, "if it bleeds it leads" mantra of the news. College attended, two parent households in the burbs? Nope, they (we) do not exist. Just the hood.
@highaltitude24@drantbradley Yes, which is a sad case. Even is black person is against DEI policies, the assumption for their success is based it other than ability is a disservice to them. Yet, some are so sure that is the case.
@elimcgowan So many problems with this. While no pic of Jesus is sufficient to image him, the POTUS depicting himself as a Messiah figure should have all on high alert.
@LivingGodsTruth I was just having this conversation yesterday, families with kids who have needs and kids in general must be welcomed and cared for in the church with their parents.
