Thanks to Mallika Sagar, RCB ended up winning back to back IPL titles
During the 2025 auction, every RCB fan got annoyed with Mallika Sagar's constant Fair Warning, Last Warning calls whenever the bidding was going RCB's way.

Those delays cost us players like Mitchell Starc, David Miller, Marcus Stoinis and many more. We also ended up paying more than expected for Krunal Pandya and Liam Livingstone.

Looking back now, it is funny how things worked out.

Missing out on Starc got us Josh Hazlewood. While teams were busy getting into bidding wars for marquee players like Miller, Stoinis and others, we managed to pick up players like Tim David and Romario at a bargain.
even in this auction we got venky because of her.

Back then, many of us were blaming Mallika. Today, it almost feels like those delays actually helped RCB build a better squad.

Sometimes what feels frustrating in the moment turns out to be a blessing in disguise.
