@IndembAbuDhabi Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Abhishekkumar Hemraj Mehta, an Indian national residing in the UAE for the past 18 years. I am a law-abiding resident, running my own gold business and living a disciplined life with my family here in Dubai.
I am writing this email to urgently seek the kind intervention of the Indian Consulate and the Honourable Consul General regarding a travel ban imposed on me by UAE immigration authorities last year.
During one of my routine travels, I was stopped at the airport and informed that I was banned from leaving the UAE. Since then, I have made every effort to understand the reason behind this restriction but have been met with complete silence and no clear explanation. There is no legal case or case numberregistered against my name or my company.
In pursuit of answers, I have spent over AED 500,000 engaging different legal professionals, but all efforts have proven fruitless. No lawyer, authority, or official has been able or willing to disclose the source or reason behind this travel ban.
The matter has now turned into a personal emergency. My mother in India is passed on 17thjuly 2025 . I am desperate to visit her and be by her side during this difficult time, but this unexplained ban has completely restricted my movement and caused immense emotional and psychological distress.
I humbly request the Indian Consulate in Dubai and the Consul General to intervene in this matter on humanitarian groundsand help facilitate communication with the relevant UAE authorities. I am a responsible Indian citizen and have always upheld the laws of the country I live in. I am only seeking the right to visit my ailing mother.
Please find my passport details below:
• Name: Abhishekkumar Hemraj Mehta
• Passport Number: P6236480
I am hopeful for your immediate attention to this matter and sincerely request your assistance.
With deepest regards, Abhishekkumar Hemraj Mehta +971505691917
