@jakubtomsu_@teej_dv Why? Isn't it a good way to test the usefulness of your language?
Also isn't functions, conditions, loops, syscall and array sufficient to make a self hosting language
@VictorTaelin@hive_echo@ZoldenGames I'm tired of the AI hype cycle that's been going on for years, I prefer to just not believe what people say, or assume they're exaggerating
Sorry not sorry
@hive_echo@ZoldenGames This fucking schizo has been larping with his same useless project for years now, and it's always the **EXACT** same reaction when a new model gets release

Here is my demo of GPT-4's power. I've asked it to write a recursive ฮป-Calculus parser in JavaScript. It outputted a 100% clean working function. GPT 3.5 failed every time. I've then asked it to convert it to Python, and add sarcastic GLaDOS comments all over the code. Nailed it.
@SebAaltonen@alajm0 I don't see the issue of using this workflow for prototyping, but there is an obvious ethical/legal problem with using AI generated assets for production
@SebAaltonen@alajm0 I think the overarching point is that the fact that the AI tool can generate copyrighted/stolen emblems or style is already problematic.
Here you noticed that it generated a copy of zelda's artstyle. What about all the other games it copied from that you are not aware of?
@wassonology@Jonathan_Blow Just reading his bio its a giveaway that's he a larper
