DR Congo super fan Lumumba was denied a US visa for the game vs Uzbekistan. 🇨🇩
But another fan stepped in and stood in his place for the full 90 minutes, representing him in the stands all match long.
Football family spirit at its best.

91 year old legendary Argentinian journalist Macaya Márquez was in press conference, covering his 18th (!) World Cup 🐐
“Let me ask you… will Messi play against Jordan or not?” 😬
“I’d never reply to any journalist on this topic now… but it is coming from you, and so I tell you: Messi will not start” 👏🏼
“I respect you too much, I’m proud to see you here”, added.
Scaloni then went to hug Márquez and took a picture 🫂🥹

I agree with you entirely on this. There’s a likelihood that he knew but he never went for DNA. He therefore accepted the children just like our grandparents used to.
So, why are we disturbing him peace?
Last on this matter,
DNA provides scientific facts, an identity disappears with a DNA report – that is science. but science is not the only truth that shapes a family.
A father is often recognised not only by biology, but by acceptance and presence. My contention is that Kafeero might have been aware of some realities.
The man named some of them after his surname and gave them a place in the family.
I raise these points because today is Kafeero, tomorrow it will be another family, whether popular or not. Because DNA testing is becoming cheaper and more accessible.
Should people start writing wills while still alive, whether their remains may one day be exhumed for DNA testing? Or do the interests of the living always take precedence? Imagine the living deciding who becomes a member of your family coz you are dead?
Yes, the law recognises DNA. Is the same law forgetting the social bonds that make a family?
Alot doesn’t make sense.
I respect science but this country is capable of doing anything that serves the interests of the minority.
How transparent was that DNA process? How are these two not Kafeero’s children?
Mutubaleemu ku magezi.
21 children just lost a version of themselves today.
A father is not only a man in the house. He is history, tribe, bloodline, medical records, identity.
Now imagine being a child and realising the story you were given about yourself has a missing chapter.
Before we turn this into entertainment, remember: the loudest victims may be the quietest ones. (Children)
