BIBLE:

3 Ephesians 5:22: "Wives, be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord," a sentiment echoed in Colossians 3:18.

4 Corinthians 11:8–9 “Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.”

5 Genesis 3:16: As part of the consequence after eating the forbidden fruit, God tells the woman, "Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you."

6. Leviticus 15:19–30: Details ritual uncleanness associated with natural biological functions like menstruation, treating the state as contaminating to surrounding objects and people.

QURAN
1. Men are caretaker of women. Men have been provisioned by Allah over women. A righteous woman would be one who is devoutly obedient and, when alone, protective of what Allah has entrusted them with. And if you sense ill-conduct from your women, advise them ˹first˺, if they persist, do not share their beds, but if they still persist, then discipline them.

what that means: Men are superior, women need to take orders from them and if they don't then men has the right to decipline women.

2. Surah Al-Baqarah verse 223: Your wives are like farmland for you. Approach them as you please.

Meaning : Your wives are you farmland and you can do whatever you feel like doing with her. This is happening in a society where we talk about Marital rape,

3. Surah Al Nisa verse 24: All married women (muhsanat) are forbidden to you except those women whom your right hands have come to possess (as a result of war).

Meaning: Win girls from war and use them as you please.

4. Surah Al-Baqarah verse 282: And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not (at hand) then a man and two women, of such as ye approve as witnesses, so that if the one erreth (through forgetfulness) the other will remember.

Meaning : Weightage of a Man's testimony is twice than the weightage of a woman.

How many Christians read and believe in Bible? 100%
How many Muslims read or Believe in Quran? 100%
How many Hindus read or believe in Manusmriti? 1%

But what is problematic? MANUSMRITI ofcourse.

Rahul Gandhi should first read the Manusmriti in its entirety before lecturing Hindus about what Hinduism supposedly says about women.

Here is a verse from the very same Manusmriti:

“यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवताः।
यत्रैतास्तु न पूज्यन्ते सर्वास्तत्राफलाः क्रियाः॥”
— मनुस्मृति 3.56–57

Meaning: Where women are honoured, the gods rejoice; where women are not honoured, all acts become fruitless.

So what exactly is Congress trying to prove by selectively presenting one verse while ignoring another from the same text?

If Rahul Gandhi wants to debate Hindu scriptures, he should at least read them honestly rather than approach them through a political lens.

भारत की सभ्यता को अंग्रेज़ी के चश्मे से पढ़कर समझने का दावा नहीं किया जा सकता।

Hinduism does not need a certificate from Rahul Gandhi. But Rahul Gandhi certainly needs to educate himself before passing judgment on Hindu civilisation.

My father was a deeply devoted Muslim who performed Hajj seven times, but he was equally proud of having served his country. He would tell us that if he ever died in the line of duty, Jannah would be written for him. For him, there was never a contradiction between the two. Hubbul watani—love for one’s homeland—was part of his faith.

Like my father, I refuse to accept the idea that my faith becomes purer when my belonging to my country becomes weaker. Muslim children should never have to choose between their identity and their nationhood. They must be empowered to carry their faith in their hearts and the Tiranga in their hands, without anyone telling them that one makes them less loyal to the other.
