Californians pay the highest gas taxes yet drive over the deepest potholes. We spend the most to combat homelessness yet have the most homeless. We spend the most to alleviate poverty yet have the most poverty.
This is the very definition of failed governance.
About time!! Should have happened a long time ago…as soon as Nick Shirley started digging. Need to yank from all Democrat controlled cities in CA because we know the same thing is happening in all of them. Especially the big ones. Maybe not San Jose. Isn’t it $100s of mils?
Federal funding is being yanked from LA’s homelessness agency after massive fraud and mismanagement — tens of millions of taxpayer dollars down the drain.
This same outfit has already sucked up $1 BILLION from HUD since 2021.
Yet streets are still filthy and tent cities keep growing.
When does accountability finally hit California?

Under Rob Bonta, homelessness has exploded. Yet, he has remained silent.
As your next Attorney General, I will make sure all Californians are SEEN and HEARD! #BontaFailed#GatesForAG
This graph is based off of statistics from HUD’s Point-in-Time counts and official statewide estimates.
And there it is. A small piece of evidence of the corruption of @GavinNewsom / @CAgovernor and his team and supporters. The tip of the iceberg of election fraud in California. 😡😡
A woman who worked as a longtime signature collector for ballot initiatives pleaded guilty on June 8 to paying homeless people in Los Angeles’ Skid Row and elsewhere $2 or $3 to register to vote.
A woman who worked as a longtime signature collector for ballot initiatives pleaded guilty today to paying homeless people in Los Angeles' Skid Row and elsewhere $2 or $3 to register to vote.
Brenda Lee Brown Armstrong, 64, of Marina del Rey, also known as "Anika,'' entered a plea to one count of paying another person to register to vote, a federal charge that carries a penalty of up to five years behind bars.
“California’s life sciences industry is sounding the alarm over a proposal from Gov. Gavin Newsom that would permanently cap corporate tax credits.
The proposal is projected to contribute a few billion dollars in revenue to California annually, but opponents say the state’s life sciences industry would be seriously threatened by having their tax subsidy reduced.”
How far will Gavin Newsom and the Democrat regime go in destroying California as they gathering money going to untraceable activities?
Barbara Lee, a former congresswoman who took over as Oakland's mayor after her predecessor left in disgrace, launched her campaign for a full four-year term on Saturday.
Lee, 79, won a race in April 2025 to finish former Mayor Sheng Thao's term after Thao was recalled amid allegations of bribery. More here: https://t.co/ixVrPrUAf3
Hopefully the LAW will decide that Becerra is not fit to lead California - undoubtedly complicit in the fraud that his chief of staff pleaded guilty to. Shame the chief of staff didn’t make a plea deal and provide evidence of Becerra’s involvement.
California gubernatorial candidate Xavier Becerra responded Thursday to President Donald Trump's claims that Democrats are trying to "steal" the state's primaries.
"Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. He lost California by millions of votes in the 2024 election, and now he's trying to undermine confidence in our elections because he's a repeat loser here," said Becerra on a post published on the social media platform X. https://t.co/Oaqld8I3tq
In my opinion, and fortunately, Steyer didn’t do himself any favors with his FLOOD of ads. We all got SICK of his ads and all we heard was an angry man bashing trump and ICE. No authentic new ideas or solutions to make California better.
California Had the Most Expensive Governor’s Race in U.S. History. It’s Still Not Over.
Nearly $316 million was spent on campaign ads in the primary for California governor. Now the general election spending will begin.
The vast majority of those dollars were spent by one man, the analysis found: Tom Steyer, a former hedge fund manager who is running as a progressive Democrat, spent $201.2 million, making him responsible for 64 percent of the total spent on ads in the race.
A PAC opposing Mr. Steyer, funded by the California Chamber of Commerce and other businesses, was the second-largest advertiser in the race, spending $30.9 million, according to the analysis.
Kevin, is it also about election fraud? Are democrat govt officials “losing” R votes and “finding”D votes until they get the desired results? With all the government fraud in CA, I wouldn’t doubt if this was happening.
Florida provides timely election results, as does every state – red or blue – other than California. This is not about ballot access or integrity. It's about the unique ineffectiveness of our state government.
Isn’t this what government is for…to protect the people from bs like this? Feels more like government is complicit in the fraud or directly (personally) benefiting from it.
Here’s all the items California fraudster Paul Randall purchased with stolen Medi-Cal fraud money
- Over $270 million in fraudulent claims
- Over a dozen Ferraris
- Multiple Lamborghinis
- A Bugatti
- A Lotus
- Kobe Bryant game-worn sneakers
- Jackie Robinson baseball card
- Mickey Mantle baseball card
- 7 real estate properties total
- One mansion in an exclusive area of Orange County with 8 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms
I looked into this and found was able to do all this on under 1 year, May 2022 to April 2023 which is about 11 months
Randall, along with co-conspirators exploited a temporary Medi-Cal rule change during and after COVID that suspended prior authorization requirements for certain medications
- They billed for 19 expensive, non-contracted drugs that contained low-cost generic ingredients.
- Many claims were for drugs that were not medically necessary and often not even provided to patients
They then laundered proceeds, including kickbacks to Anderson, to conceal the fraud
Democrats and California agencies let this happen. They should be the ones held accountable
Steve Hilton at the state Capitol announces he’s tweaking one of his campaign promises to cut state income taxes from people in California making up to $100k.
He said he’s exploring ways to try to have it apply to higher income levels.
It’s not that votes can’t be tallied in a timely manner…corrupt politicians and government officials are taking extra time to fudge number and fake results to rig the election for democrats.
Every other state manages to count its votes in a somewhat timely manner. California's inability to competently handle the basic administration of democracy is embarrassing. It's also indicative of why our state has so many other problems.
And yet a huge number of Californians are too scared or weak to change their voting habits in order to get a different result to the consistently failed results (or lack of meaningful results) that we’ve seen under Brown and Newsom.
Californians are clearly underwhelmed by leading candidates for Governor promising to maintain the status quo when we lead the nation in cost-of-living, unemployment, and homelessness.
Voters consistently say California is on the wrong track and want a return to common sense.
Thank you @nickshirleyy. We appreciate your efforts to do what our state incompetent “leaders” are unwilling and unable to do. Please be careful. We know what the Dems did to @charliekirk11
California taxpayers continue to be asked to pay more to address homelessness, but the problem continues to get worse. Where is our money actually going?
California’s homelessness crisis has spiraled out of control while billions of taxpayer dollars vanish into thin air. Governor Gavin Newsom’s administration poured $24 billion into programs that promised solutions, yet the streets remain flooded with tents and despair. Hardworking families foot the bill for this failure, watching their state crumble under incompetent leadership that prioritizes politics over people.
Where did all that money really go? Audits reveal shocking gaps in accountability, with little to show for the massive investment except more excuses and finger-pointing. It’s time for a full investigation to expose the waste, fraud, and mismanagement that has defined Newsom’s tenure.
Taxpayers deserve transparency and real results, not endless promises from Sacramento elites. Demand answers now before another fortune disappears, leaving California’s most vulnerable citizens to suffer.
