@EGPartnerships I’m extremely disappointed with how you handled a double-booking issue.
Expedia apparently rearranged/reaccommodated my guest at another property, then charged me about $3,600 in management/reaccommodation fees, even though the guest’s original booking at my property was only about $1,000.
Honestly, the local 5-star hotel won't charge $1200/night for a 3-day reservation.
I already called Expedia and formally submitted a complaint. I was told a case was created; however, as of today, it has been 3 days, and I have not received any response or resolution.
I do not believe it is fair or reasonable to charge me $3,600 for a guest whose original reservation was $1,000, especially when Expedia arranged the alternative accommodation.
Please escalate this matter to the appropriate department, review the charge, and reverse the $3,600 fee.
I would appreciate a prompt response and real help as an owner.
