It was the same at the Waves Summit in Mumbai last year too. Foreign delegates, exhibitors, and hundreds / thousands of people were left stranded out on the streets in the sweltering heat of mid summer Mumbai from ~09:00 till 14:30 due to security lockdown for PM, MH CM, DCM(s), and other VIPs & VVIPs. The whole cadre of Mumbai Police seemed to be there, among of course the NSG, and other high security corps.

While the people who were there to participate had paid more than 4500k for the event, they all lost more than 3/4th of a day just standing outside in the sun with no provision for even something as simple as water.

Dive deeper and you realise how systematic segregation was a large part. ‘Europeans worked with locals in Singapore and Hong Kong’ okay, did they do it by choice you think? And why was it not done in Africa? Also you call Africa ‘Africa’ as if it’s one country. Are all of the 54 countries in Africa the same? What’s with this white supremacy shit?
