At some point we need to have a conversation about the fact that we’re genuinely viewed as cash cows by this company and thrown subpar merch to keep us preoccupied versus quality content, we’re given memberships that don’t follow through, and yet all of this money that we’re milked for doesn’t go back to the group we’re supporting. They’re barely marketed domestically, their international marketing is horseshit. They’re never on variety shows or anything outside a billboard the fanbases can get on voting apps or can fundraise themselves… The group is becoming more and more paywalled and we’re just letting it happen.
And this isn’t some parasocial issue I do not need one of them on bubble telling me the color of their morning shit. But the difference in engagement, quality, and content between 5 star and now is astounding.
