We need to increase teacher salaries because those currently teaching deserve and earned it.
I’m often asked for “evidence” ungrading works. I start by pointing to the copious evidence that traditional grades and standardized assessment are inequitable. Asking hard questions about bad assumptions institutions make about the efficacy of grades IS the work of ungrading.
