@ClareGerada@jillrileyuk@ClareGerada What concerns me is the limitation of this study states no data was collected from 2 months after commencement, plus the relative flat line of the group receiving the vaccine takes into account a 2nd dose at 3 weeks. Not sure I've seen evidence to be convinced.
@ClareGerada Not sure where a 99.92% survival rate comes from? Risk of death (IFR) approximately doubles every 8 years of life to 5% in over 80's (imperial) @MarkRalston you are quoting an under 40 y.o subgroup. Hardly representative
@LaurafinucaneB we are hearing similar from our delegates. Also important to understand pathways to appropriate imaging ? Sarcoma. ? MRI ? X-Ray, or better still both and when.
Anecdotally we are seeing an increase in serious pathology coming through MSK services NOT just spinal but sarcomas , MND , need to be really aware of serious pathology as a differential diagnosis @mercephysio1@sue_greenhalgh@PhysioMACP
94% of patients will complain of back pain as their first symptom of Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression! Spinal Masqueraders study day @sue_greenhalgh@LaurafinucaneB@Mercephysio
