"Ghost Apples" are an unusual phenomenon where freezing rain coats rotting apples before they fall, then when the apple turns mushy it eventually slips out and leaves the icy shell still hanging on the tree.

This is a dark dream of troubled times.

Thirsting for an eerie experience this Samhain?

My game Something Is Wrong Here is a spooktacular choice.

Inspired by the uncanny work of David Lynch, it's atmospheric, emotional, and personal.

Have you ever played a ttrpg where the mechanics of physical action (a battle, a fight, a car chase, etc) ACTUALLY made an exciting action scene happen? Like a riveting one that you were excited for turn by turn? That didn't rely on roleplaying to carry it? I HAVENT AND IM SALTY

I've always been surprised how common this particular #Lego piece is. It's in so many colors and so many sets use it. But it's never structural. It's basically visual noise.

Good thread, interesting perspectives.

@bananachangames The larp "Panopticorp" has been hanging over my shoulder for the better part of my RL career. :/ For good and ill.

An astrophotographer has clicked an exceptional video, wherein we can feel the rotation of the earth

Using a tracking mount, aligned with North Star, he kept clicking images every 12 seconds for the next 3 hours.
The camera is looking at the same portion of the Milky Way

Fab!
