@game_fabricator Moving on from Cortana makes sense. We have Joyeuse now. Cortana’s story should’ve ended in Halo 4 with that perfect send-off. Smart AIs deteriorate after 7 years, so her demise was bound to happen post-Halo 3. Plus, exposure to a Gravemind must have taken a massive toll on her.

@game_fabricator Was this established before the 2001 release? 'Cause if that top image shows the Milky Way, Installation 04 looks outside the galaxy, not on its fringe. Was that its actual lore location, or just done to make the title screen look pretty?
