Someone saw this post and sent it to my DM that he wants to do DNA on his 2 kids and that I should advise him. I asked him: are you suspecting your wife or do you have a reason to believe that the two kids are not yours? And he said not exactly but his mind is just not at rest since he saw the post.

Then I told him to make up his mind. If he is more drawn towards doing DNA, he should go ahead. But his wife must not know except he is excluded from being the biological father. Otherwise, he should keep the secret in his mind and take it to the grave.

The conversation brings to fore the effects of social media posts on our private and family lives. It is not all you see that you act on or want to apply to your private lives. Some people are going through one trauma or the other or just come here to talk about things they see happening in the lives of others. No doubt, there is wisdom in learning from people’s experience, but there is a more profound wisdom in choosing the right lessons.
