We have been working on network architecture and node infrastructure to improve stability, and we just expanded Orbinum's own validator infrastructure with additional nodes.

More validators means more fault tolerance: the network now keeps finalizing even if one of them goes down.

🔹 No more shield minimum. You used to need a whole token. Now shield any non-zero amount, down to a single unit.

🔹 Note backups. We removed automatic scanning. Export your notes as a JSON file and import them on any of your devices, no chain scan. The backup holds only public data, no spending keys, so it grants nothing on its own.

Rescan still works from the chain, but now it's a manual fallback, for lost storage or a fresh device, not the default.

How it works:

🔹 They import it and the funds appear. Done.

🔓 Unshield to any address.

Withdrawals used to land in your own wallet. Now you pick: paste any Substrate (SS58) or EVM address.

The proof always treated the recipient as a public input, the interface was the part that assumed it was you. Shield from EVM, withdraw to Substrate. Or the reverse.

Note: the destination is public on-chain. The pool keeps your history private, the exit is visible. A fresh address keeps it that way.

⚡ Three extra on-chain quests

Shield, private transfer, and unshield now each have an optional counterpart, 15 credits, 3 per week, once per day.

They don't touch your streak, so missing one costs nothing. Each needs its own transaction.

🔹 Faucet now drips 5 ORB, down from 10. Same 24h cooldown. More testers, same tap, better it keeps flowing than runs dry.
