When he was 4, Price Destinobles lost contact with his father. Then, when he was 13, his mother was incarcerated. He faced a crossroads but finished high school with a 4.5 GPA. At FIU, Price continued to excel academically and personally.
He took on leadership and mentoring roles with Fostering Panther Pride, a program that aids former foster care and homeless students, which he was a part of. This commencement season, Price defied all odds and crossed our stage as a #WorldsAhead graduate.
“Thank you for waiting, I’m glad we could make it”
I worked all year for something I’m truly proud of. Thankful for my friends, life, and everything involved.
