Following a precise operation based on source based information, Birbhum Police conducted a major raid under Mohammad Bazar PS targeting the hideout of illegal sand mafia Tullu Mondal alias Mohd Nazibuddin.
The operation has uncovered staggering amounts of illegally amassed wealth:
Cash Recovered So Far: ₹5.5 crore with counting still ongoing.
Gold Recovered: 15 kg

কারা যেন বলেছিল বিজেপি সরকার আসলে মাছ খাওয়া বন্ধ হয়ে যাবে। হিন্দিকরণ হবে, বাংলা ভাষায় কথা বললে জেল হবে?

পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সমস্ত সরকারি দপ্তরে বাংলা ভাষার ব্যবহার বাধ্যতামূলক করা হলো। সমস্ত সরকারি চিঠিপত্র ও দাপ্তরিক যোগাযোগ বাংলায় সম্পন্ন করতে হবে।

নতুন নির্দেশিকা আগামী ১ সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে কার্যকর হবে।

প্রশাসনিক স্তরে বাংলা ভাষার ব্যবহার বাড়ানোর পরামর্শ দিয়েছেন অমিত শাহ। থানায় দায়ের হওয়া এফআইআর (FIR) বাংলায় নথিভুক্ত করারও পরামর্শ দিয়েছেন তিনি। কেন্দ্র ও রাজ্যের মধ্যে সরকারি চিঠিপত্র হিন্দি ও বাংলায় আদান-প্রদান করা যাবে। অনুবাদ হিন্দিতে থাকবে।

🚨SMART BORDER PROJECT: WHY WEST BENGAL STANDS TO GAIN THE MOST🔹

West Bengal has India’s longest international border - around 2,500 km—including a 2,216.7 km frontier with Bangladesh, which accounts for over half of the entire India–Bangladesh border. Protecting such a vast and complex boundary has always been one of India’s biggest security challenges.

Home Minister Amit Shah has now announced that India will establish one of the world’s most advanced AI-powered Smart Border systems. For West Bengal, this could transform border management by combining artificial intelligence, thermal imaging, smart sensors, anti-drone technology and real-time intelligence into an integrated security grid.

🌊 Virtual fencing of riverine borders – AI-enabled thermal cameras, radar and sensors will monitor unfenced stretches along rivers such as the Ichhamati, Padma, Kalindi and parts of the Sundarbans.
🤖 Real-time AI surveillance – The system can automatically detect suspicious movement, distinguish humans from animals, and instantly alert nearby BSF teams.
📊 Predictive intelligence – AI will analyse historical crossing patterns, weather, river levels and terrain to anticipate likely infiltration routes.
🚔 Integrated command network – BSF, State Police, district administration and intelligence agencies will share information through a unified command system.
🚁 Anti-drone shield – Radar and RF detection systems will identify and help neutralise drones used for surveillance or smuggling.
🚶 Combating infiltration and organised crime – The project is designed to strengthen action against illegal infiltration, human trafficking, narcotics, fake currency and cross-border smuggling.
🌐 24×7 digital monitoring – Continuous electronic surveillance will reduce dependence on manpower alone and enable faster responses to border incidents.
