I have zero respect for this Pakistani singer. I’m sorry I know all the arguments for “art has no borders” and in an academically aesthetic way this can resonate with some people, but raising an Indian flag when India has attacked Pakistan a few months back, and when its leaders, media and a majoritarian Hindu chauvinists are spewing poison against Pakistan and Muslims even in India, and when India is constantly threatening war against Pakistan, and when Indian society’s discourse is based on hating Pakistanis, and when their pettiness has polluted even sports - at this time for this Pakistani to raise an Indian flag and insist he will do again is an act I can never ever support. Hence zero respect for him. He should apologise to our nation.
