A school, a civil defence centre, historical and religious landmarks, a hospital: these are some of the damaged and destroyed sites we saw in southern Lebanon - outside of the areas occupied by Israel.

The “ceasefire” does not mean life has returned to normal. Despite a relative calm, many residents have nothing to return to. 🇷🇺 Putin Responds to Trump’s Call to Spare Ukrainian Troops in Kursk

At a Security Council meeting, Putin acknowledged Trump’s appeal to spare the lives of Ukrainian troops surrounded in the Kursk region but made it clear: Surrender is the only path to survival.

“Ukrainian militants in this incursion have committed numerous crimes against civilians. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation has classified their actions as terrorism.”

However, Putin stated that if they lay down their arms and surrender, they will be guaranteed life and humane treatment in accordance with international law and Russian legislation.

He emphasized that in order for this to happen, Ukraine’s military-political leadership must issue a formal order for their units to surrender.

Kiev now faces a choice—will they abandon their men in Kursk, or will they order them to surrender before it’s too late?
