Omooo, I worked. I stopped working hard and started working smart. I was everywhere.
1. I told my manager I want to handle the reporting of the work I do; I got it

2. I managed town hall meetings for visibility

3. I became a slack god. You will always find me on Slack sharing opinion polls, health tips, etc.

4. I got a Slack name for every event: We migrated to seamless HR, and I was the one in charge of the project, so everyone came to me. I changed my Slack name to Mr. Seamless

5. During public holidays, I called myself the minister of public holidays, so everyone looked out for my emails and Slack messages.

6. I managed the company's fun Fridays that happened every last Friday of the month and made sure every member of the management who worked in Nigeria made it to the event to unwind. They started calling me Sheriff. Everybody o. Everyone, including managing partners and directors.

I won 3 awards later that year at our end-of-year party, including the empathy award, which HR never wins😂
