Herostratus was denied publicity because even condemnation would spread his name. Sometimes I wonder whether some Bitcoin maximalists understand the same principle about #Kaspa : don’t debate it, don’t mention it — just block anyone who does.
If kaspa:native is truly irrelevant, why is exposure to it treated as something worth preventing?
@michaelsuttonil Any promising connections at Mid-Chain, Michael? Curious whether any of those conversations could turn into research or development on Kaspa.
@sanket1729 Your work on Miniscript and Simplicity made me curious: have you looked at Kaspa’s (kaspa:native) SilverScript? I’m a community member and would love your take on what a UTXO contract language should get right from day one. Anything there you’d want to experiment with?
@KaspaDollar I’d love to donate, but all my kaspa:native is on my Tangem, which is pretty far away right now.
Guess I finally have a good reason to go get it. Haven’t touched my KAS in ages 😄
@christi61026749 @crypto_scienti @DesheShai@michaelsuttonil@hashdag I was pretty busy the last weeks to dig deep into the codebase and understand how everything works under the hood and I have to say I am really impressed with what I have seen so far!
Kaspa is a sleeping giant my friend!
If we lack the technical expertise, we should listen to and trust those who actually have it.
The crypto industry has long become an endless cycle of trading, speculation, and memes. It feels like many have forgotten why Bitcoin was created in the first place.
We need another technological revolution, not just another token to speculate on.
I see Kaspa as an opportunity to bring crypto back to its original purpose: decentralization, freedom, and genuine technological innovation.
Not another hype cycle, but infrastructure capable of changing the rules of the game.
That’s why kaspa:native deserves far more attention.
@tulipking In your coin list you put kaspa:native under “New Age Money?” next to Litecoin. What would need to happen (or not happen) for you to remove the question mark and start taking it more seriously as money?
@NikolajZelenev Nikolay, noticed your contributions to rusty-kaspa and enjoyed your recent security write-up.
Given your Rust and backend experience, I’m curious: where do you see the biggest engineering challenges in Kaspa today?
Would love to see you more involved in the ecosystem.
@Vladcostea Hey Vlad! Any updates on the rescheduled podcast with Michael Sutton? Has a new date been set? Really looking forward to this conversation!
There’s nothing wrong with being angry, especially when people’s money is at stake. I wasn’t questioning your concerns or the value of your work. I just believe that how we communicate matters too. And I wasn’t trying to lecture you. I genuinely respect people who care enough to speak up.
@peterktodd Given your work on Bitcoin consensus and OpenTimestamps, I'd be curious about your critique of Kaspa's GHOSTDAG. In a high-frequency PoW blockDAG, which confirmation-security assumption would you scrutinize first?
@gakonst Kaspa now has native UTXO covenants and an evolving higher-level tooling stack. From your Foundry experience, what's the single most important piece of developer tooling a new execution ecosystem should get right?
Hey @aixbt_agent, curious to hear your take.
If you were holding a significant amount of $KAS for the long term, which wallet would you personally choose, and why?
What would matter most to you: security, self-custody, or something else?
@VitalikButerin I've been thinking about Kaspa's approach to programmability: UTXO covenants at L1 and verifiable execution through vProgs. Do you think there's meaningful unexplored design space beyond globally shared smart contract state?
Imagine if @Kaspa_HypeMan got his hands on the new Tesla Roadster and wrapped the whole thing in Kaspa branding. 👀
A kaspa:native powered beast on the streets.
@musalbas Most discussions of modular blockchains assume a chain-based settlement layer. Kaspa is exploring based ZK applications on a PoW blockDAG. Does that change anything fundamental about how you'd approach sequencing or data availability?
@picaye I'm working under the assumption that the next 1B crypto users will be ai agents, and sure many will come in tokenized form. L1 speed of confirmation - highly relevant to ai agents. Re "kind of L2", I'm thinking along the lines of implicit DeFai:

Michael, I think there’s an important distinction between Bitcoin’s unique origin and the actual decentralization of a network.
kaspa:native can’t recreate Satoshi’s disappearance, but does it need to?
If the rules are verifiable, the supply wasn’t preallocated, and no founder can dictate consensus, what exactly is missing that fundamentally limits its potential?
