On big bad data centers...
When people talk about abundance and "UBI"... lower utility bills and free services because your community made the investment to attract these things will be something to be studied.
Other towns probably become like the hollowed out manufacturing hubs of yesteryear. Which ironically, some probably will come back because of Data Centers.
A truly cynical take and speaks to the author's need to be edgy & create purity tests no community or organization will ever pass.
