It's really funny to see people saying this has OG animations lol. I didn't have a lot of time to put it together so I just used what I could get. Just enjoy the trailer.🤣 I'll take it as a compliment. 🤷♂️🤣
Was a fun little trailer to work on. With about 2 weeks of work, tried to get the trailer to look as hype as possible lol. Probably took more time setting up ground work for the trailer than the actual trailer itself. I’ve looked at this skin more than 100 times. 🤣 It’s pretty goated. 🐐
It’s really exciting to see that the worlds we build in Fortnite can become a bigger part of the ecosystem. Expect to see a lot more moving forward with what we have going on at @GoodGamers. It’s pretty hype!
A lot of things have changed over the last year and a half. After running Zen Creative / Upside Down Studios in Fortnite Creative for the past to 5 years, it’s been a ton of fun but I’ve learnt it’s time for a change.
I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Good Gamers for the last year now and I have to say, they mean business when it comes to developing in this ecosystem. I thought I worked long hours but these guys really blow it out of the park! I mean it when I say they really do care about producing the best work they possibly can!
Really excited for everyone to see what we’ve been working on and looking forward to the future.
And if you’re wondering, @jstKamui is working on roblox so yes. He is vibin.
Introducing @ImBlanky ,
Blanky is a 3D Generalist with over six years of experience in the Fortnite Creative space. Having worked with Epic Games and numerous brands, he is constantly looking to expand his knowledge and discover new ways to push the boundaries of what’s possible within the platform.
Whether creating visually stunning environments or optimizing games so everyone can enjoy them, Blanky is driven by the goal of delivering memorable, immersive experiences for players across every project he’s involved in!
I still believe that games in Fortnite should be at the discretion of the developers and their experiences. If developers choose to build performance heavy experiences, then that should be on them.🤷♂️
Up the limit, let players pre-download updates and make bigger / better games.
Hey @BeastFNCreative we’re really sorry for the confusion here. This wasn’t a test, it was an error in the Creator Portal and has been reverted.
A compact download size means games remain available to as many players as possible – wherever they play. Later this year, we will add the ability to stream large assets (like textures and meshes) to UEFN, increasing what you can fit within the existing headroom.
I'd say that Custom Animations is more of the stepping stone to more fluid experiences than the solution.
Sure, it would make carrying a brainrot more immersive but what happens when I want to use an animation that isn't in the 8 predefined presets they offer?
Joke aside, my original point is more that it would be nice to be less restrictive and have more control over more elements in our experiences lol. The flexibility in Roblox is unmatched by a long shot

@spankysully@hyprjack Yeah I could see that, but the quality threshold would be a lot higher. Sure you'd still have the brainrot games but you'd have a lot more games that make the ecosystem more appealing in the same way that roblox does.
Game #5: Slurpent
This one nearly broke me, but it’s also the minigame I’m most proud of so far. I wanted to go way beyond the classic retro Snake look and fully animate everything, every segment, every turn, every tiny detail. Materials are not my strong suit, so getting this all working took a lot of trial and error. Sorry for the delayed post, but I’m really proud of how it turned out.
- 100% Verse UI
- The entire snake is driven by a grid of materials and their parameters (position, scale, rotation, straight segments, turn pieces with correct direction + tail logic, tail ends, head types, color, bulge effect, body texture, etc.)
And of course, this is still running on the same scene graph arcade machine I built playing local SFX, animating on player input, and fully modular so I can duplicate it instantly.
Massive shoutout to @ImBlanky for helping me with where to start with the material.
Next up is getting a public code set up for all five games I’ve built so far.

During our time working on SpongeBob, Meep was one of our core modelers who developed over 200+ UEFN assets that are currently being used in the SpongeBob experiences! 🍍
Definitely check out his work alongside @BuilderDriz who created the textures to bring the assets to life!
I'm finally posting the assets I've made for all the Spongebob x Fortnite projects!

Team Pillars is finally in Epic Picks! 🔴🔵
Did it take 5 months? Yes. ⌚
Did we get told less than 24 hours before it went live? Also yes.
Did the game break right before going live? lol Absolutely.
Regardless, grateful for the opportunity! Give it a try if you haven't lol. 🔥💯
