CEERES THESIS! ✍️
The MA thesis for the CEERES programme is a substantial piece of original, focused research (20–25,000 words) that, whilst building upon themes and issues covered in one or several of the course options, permits students to conduct independent research.

CEERES Summer School
From 27 – 31 May, we hosted a summer school at the University of Glasgow for students completing their first year of studies. The summer school featured a packed agenda of seminars, workshops, and panel discussions.
CEERES Consortium Management Meeting - Tbilisi
Last month our CEERES team got together for a bi-annual consortium management meeting in Tbilisi, Georgia. Colleagues discussed the future of the programme as well as participated in training sessions.

🎓 On 7–8 May, the CEERES consortium held its Second Annual IMCEERES Student Conference, led by @unitartu and hosted online
Over two days, 17 second-year students reunited to receive peer and academic feedback ahead of their final thesis defense.
🗂 This year’s conference featured 5 interdisciplinary panels:

3️⃣ Gender Studies
4️⃣ Politics of Memory
5️⃣ Nationalism & Identity
🎥 Ahead of the event, students shared short videos on their theses and shared feedback
