[NEWS] The YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute caused a commotion when police were called in after the channel aired a live broadcast about actor Kim Soohyun, despite a court order banning them from doing so, due to stalking concerns.
On the evening of June 13, around 7 PM, police arrived at Gaseyeon’s office in Sinsadong, Gangnam, Seoul. The police were called after viewers of the live broadcast reported that Gaseyeon might be violating a court order.
Before the livestream, Gaseyeon had used Kim Soohyun’s name and face in the video thumbnail. Viewers believed this could be a breach of the court’s order prohibiting certain stalking actions and reported it to the police.
When the police arrived, they informed Gaseyeon’s head, Kim Seui, about the situation and gave a verbal warning before leaving. When reporters asked about the details of the warning, the police said they could not confirm anything.
During the broadcast, Kim Seui mentioned the police visit and expressed his displeasure, saying,
“We were in the middle of a live broadcast when the police rang the doorbell and interrupted us. This is clearly a form of press suppression.”
Earlier, on April 23, the Seoul Central District Court had issued a temporary order requiring Kim Seui to stop stalking Kim Soohyun. Although Kim Seui appealed the decision, the court rejected it.
Recently, Kim Soohyun’s legal team took further action by placing provisional seizures on Gaseyeon’s properties and donation accounts.

[NEWS] China’s 1-Million #KimSoohyun Fans Step Up to Support Him
Kim Soohyun’s Chinese fan club, which is the largest among his overseas fandoms, has launched a ‘public truck campaign’ using LED-equipped trucks to show their support. The trucks started appearing around busy areas like Gangnam Station in Seoul on April 25 and will continue until April 30.
The campaign is led by Kim Soohyun’s Chinese fan club ‘KSHBar,’ which was officially established in 2019 and currently has one million members.
On April 27, the fan club sent a letter to Sports Donga explaining the purpose of their campaign, which is aimed at defending Kim Soohyun.
In the letter, they emphasized that as a group representing ‘1 million Chinese fans of Kim Soo-hyun,’ they could no longer stay silent. They pointed out the “serious spreading of false rumors” and “reckless cyberbullying” against Kim Soohyun. Gathering the opinions of the million fans, they decided to take action.
Specifically, through the large screens on the trucks, they are repeatedly showing two messages:
• “Truth will prevail” (a phrase meaning everything will be set right eventually),
• and a quote from Kim Soohyun himself during a press conference: “I did not do what I did not do.”
“Truth will prevail” has also become the official slogan used by Kim Soohyun’s fans in Korea and overseas during this situation.
Along with this large-scale action by the million-strong Chinese fan club, a union of two Korean fan clubs has also hired a lawyer to take real legal action. They have appointed lawyer Yang Taeyoung from the law firm Siwoo and have filed multiple criminal complaints with the Seongbuk Police Station in Seoul, targeting malicious commenters and cyberbullies.

[INFO] Stop Spreading Baseless Criticism and False Rumors About Actor #KimSoohyun and His Fans
“The ‘Kim Soohyun Gallery’ on DC Inside is a space where anyone can post anonymously. Recently, many non-fans and users from other online communities have been posting malicious and harmful comments here, pretending to be fans.
This has been happening repeatedly, causing disrespect and damage to both the actor and his fans.
In particular, after the unclear statement on March 14 and the April 23 article about the late individual, many posts were made that seem like official fan opinions. However, these posts are extremely misleading. They do not represent the views of Kim Soohyun or his fans. We clearly state that these posts do not reflect the opinions of the actor or his fan community.
All the articles and posts that claim to speak on behalf of the fanbase but were based on anonymous posts from ‘Kim Soohyun Gallery’ do not reflect the official stance of the fans. Those posts were written by anonymous users pretending to be fans and have no evidence to support them. They are not trustworthy and do not represent Kim Soohyun or his fans.
Please stop spreading baseless claims and false posts that mention the ‘Kim Soohyun Gallery.’ Also, stop writing news articles based on these malicious posts.

[NEWS] Fans of actor #KimSoohyun are taking legal action against people who are spreading false information and making malicious comments about him.
On April 22, Kim Soohyun’s fan union (Daum Cafe ‘Eucharist’ and DC Inside Kim Soohyun Gallery) announced, “People who have nothing to do with Kim Soohyun are continuing to spread harmful rumors online and on social media, damaging the actor’s reputation. We are currently in the process of filing a criminal complaint.”
Lawyer Yang Taeyoung from Siwoo Law Firm, who represents the fan union, plans to submit the complaint to Seoul Seongbuk Police Station as early as this week. The fan union claims that the malicious commenters have violated the Information and Communications Network Act by defaming Kim Soohyun.
Unlike the crime of insult, which requires the victim to file the complaint directly, defamation can be reported by a third party. The fan union said that not only Korean fans but also international fans are joining the effort.
The fan union stated, “This is a voluntary effort to protect the actor’s rights and promote a healthy fan culture. We will not ignore personal attacks and hateful comments disguised as free speech. There will be no leniency.” They also said they have collected evidence over several months, including malicious comments, fake images, and posts spreading false information.

You ignored his consistent denials, but swallowed the lack of concrete proof. Condemning a man who built his career on talent and hard work over murky allegations tied to a tragedy he didn’t cause? That’s not justice, it’s a witch hunt.
You’re out here playing judge, jury, and executioner with no sense of fairness. Sit down. The truth doesn’t need your pitchforks to sort itself out.
Instead of waiting for proper legal verification, you blindly follow manipulated narratives from Gaseyeon (!!), treating rumors as fact simply because they fit the scenario you want to believe.
Kim Soohyun stood before the world, spoke his truth, and even took legal action to prove it. Meanwhile haters cling to edited messages, inconsistent testimonies, and conveniently altered ‘evidence.’ If the accusations were so airtight, why does the story keep changing, with new ‘proof’ appearing every time the previous one is debunked?
Justice isn’t decided by online mobs. The legal system exists for a reason. If you truly care about the truth, let the facts unfold. If you’re just here to hate, at least be honest about it, because pretending to seek justice while ignoring evidence is the height of hypocrisy.
[NEWS] The law firm LKB & Partners, which is representing Kim Soohyun, denied the claims, saying they are not true, “We paid all the necessary court fees and delivery charges. It is not true that we failed to pay the lawsuit fees. The request to extend the correction deadline was made to fix the defendant’s address, not because of unpaid fees.”

We understand that some may choose to dislike Kim Soohyun, and that’s your choice. But questioning whether he is a big star or even a star at all because of an unconfirmed issue? That’s just absurd.
Even now, while facing this controversy, two of the world’s most reputable international news organizations—BBC and CNN—recognize him as a superstar.
📰 CNN: "South Korean superstar Kim Soo Hyun tearfully denies controversial claims about relationship with late actress."

📰 BBC: "Korean star Kim Soo-Hyun denies accusations by late actress' family," further stating he is "one of South Korea’s most popular celebrities."

📌 BBC even tagged him as:
"Kim Soo-hyun, 37, is an A-list actor in South Korea, known for his roles in multiple hit drama series and top-grossing movies, including My Love from the Star, Netflix’s Queen of Tears, and the film Secretly, Greatly."
These are global news portals. Their acknowledgment of Kim Soohyun’s status is undeniable.
Hate him if you want, but questioning his superstar status? That’s not even a debate.

[FULL STATEMENT] Gold Medalist speaks out on Real controversy: “The late Sulli was fully aware of the bed scene before filming.”
“Hello, this is Gold Medalist.
We would like to share our official statement regarding the movie Real.
First, we extend our deepest condolences to the late actress Choi Jinri.
The character Song Yoohwa, played by the late Choi Jinri, had bed scenes written into the script from the beginning. Because of this, when casting for the role, it was clearly stated that an actress comfortable with such scenes was required.
Just as job postings specify necessary qualifications, the role of Song Yoohwa required exposure scenes, so this was something that needed to be disclosed in advance. We believe that discussing exposure scenes only after casting could place unnecessary pressure on the actor and feel coercive.
The script provided to the late Choi Jinri and her agency at the time included bed scenes. Additionally, character description materials for Song Yoohwa outlined the level of exposure required. When signing the contract, a separate clause specifying the extent of exposure was also included.
The late Choi Jinri and her agency carefully reviewed all details before agreeing to take on the role.
Despite this, we understand that bed scenes require great courage from actors. That is why the production team carried out thorough preparations in advance, and the late Choi Jinri was fully informed about the bed scene before filming it.
Regarding the concerns raised by her older brother:
• About the bed scene filming: The late Choi Jinri was fully aware of the scene beforehand and participated in filming with prior understanding.
• About the stand-in actor: There was no stand-in actor performing the scene in her place. Instead, there was a ‘standing actor’ who did not act but was used during the preparation stage to help block movements for the scene.
To clarify these points, we are attaching written statements from Real’s assistant director, Kim Joongok, and script supervisor, Lee Joonhyun, both of whom were present during all scenes, including the bed scene. Additionally, script development, storyboarding, and filming fall under the production team’s responsibilities.
Actor Kim Soohyun, who participated as a cast member, was not involved in these matters.
As testified by key staff members, both the late Choi Jinri and her agency were fully aware of the role of Song Yoohwa before accepting it. No film production should ever coerce an actor into performing bed scenes or nude scenes against their will.
Lastly, we have never contacted the late Choi Jinri’s mother. We do not even have her contact information.
We understand that people may have been curious about the truth of things they heard at the funeral. However, bringing up events from over six years ago now and posting them on social media as if they were personally experienced facts, even when they are not true, is difficult to accept.
We ask that baseless speculation stop, as it only harms those who poured their love and dedication into the film Real.
Furthermore, there has been an increasing spread of unverified claims taking advantage of Kim Soohyun’s current situation. We sincerely ask that all speculative remarks come to an end.
Thank you.”
