WATCH: These were the words used Sen. Bato dela Rosa on Thursday to denounce President Bongbong Marcos' remarks seemingly used against senatorial aspirants aligned with former President Rodrigo Duterte.

Earlier, Marcos proudly stated that his slate is not tainted by the brutal drug war dubbed as Oplan Tokhang and of corruption during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dela Rosa, who was the chief implementer of Duterte’s bloody drug war being the latter’s former top cop, denounced Marcos’ remarks.

“Uncalled for, unexpected for a president. Hindi namin inaasahan na ganon, pero sige lang. Tatanggapin namin ‘yan na this is [the] political season [so] we expect political bashing,” said dela Rosa in an ambush interview. | @charieabarcaINQ
