Honoured to extend a warm welcome to our Hon'ble Governor Shri Nand Kishore Yadav ji & his family to the historic village of Khonoma. His visit is a moment of pride for the community & an opportunity to showcase the village’s legacy of conservation, culture & unity.
The Intellectual Property (IP) Yatra organised by the Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) under the aegis of the Ministry of MSME is an important initiative to empower our entrepreneurs, creators, innovators and enterprises with the knowledge to protect their ideas, strengthen their businesses and expand their reach.
I was particularly inspired by the many entrepreneurs and creative minds showcasing an impressive range of products. Nagaland is rich in talent and innovation, and there is immense potential for our entrepreneurs to add value, scale up and achieve success at the highest levels.
Grateful to the Ministry of MSME @minmsme for this valuable partnership and collaboration.
Called on the Hon’ble Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Shri Sharingain Longkumer, ahead of the 8th Session of the 14th House.
Conveyed my best wishes for a productive and successful session, with the hope that the proceedings, deliberations, and discussions of the Honourable Members will continue to serve the best interests of our citizens - both for the present and for generations to come.
Our young and dynamic Speaker has been instrumental in driving the modernisation of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly through several progressive initiatives that have strengthened its functioning and institutional capacity.
Best wishes to him and his team for a meaningful and impactful session ahead.
Honoured to attend and speak at the St. David’s Day Reception - the National Day of Wales - hosted by Dr. Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner. A pleasure to meet and interact with Mr. Eoghan O’Regan, Head of India, @WelshGovernment; celebrating the cultural connections between our two countries.
I had the opportunity to highlight the growing collaborations between Nagaland and Wales, and how India and Wales are drawing closer through cultural connections, exchange programmes, and vibrant people-to-people engagement.
Grateful to @Andrew007Uk and @UKinKolkata for the warm hospitality and gracious welcome.
We look forward to further strengthening our ties and building meaningful partnerships for shared growth and mutual benefit.
And by the way - if you haven’t visited Wales - put it on your bucket list - it’s more than beautiful with the most wonderful people. @visitwales@VisitCardiff

I strongly condemn the racial & physical attacks on women from the Northeast, including the incident of a woman from Nagaland. Such acts are reprehensible & have no place in society. India’s unity in diversity must be upheld through tolerance, compassion, & respect for dignity.
Thank You Madam @SangitaSJindal for your support, solidarity and trust in us. We look forward to welcoming you to Nagaland in the near future. Best wishes always.
Participated in the Colours of Spring Flower Festival organised by the Dimapur District Ladies Club - a vibrant and colourful event that showcases the immense potential of Nagaland’s floriculture industry. Our women are immensely talented, creative, and innovative, and almost everyone has a green thumb.
Appreciated the touching and inspiring message delivered by Madam Kaisa Rio, the wife of the Honourable Chief Minister.
The exhibition and sale are on for the next two days, and all flower lovers must not miss it. Well done to the organisers. IDAN is honoured to partner with you, and we look forward to many more collaborations in the future.
Happy to inaugurate the JSW Women-Centric BPO, a project under JSW Shakti and initiated by @IdanNagaland. This represents not only a partnership, but also a shared commitment to inclusive growth, skill development, and the empowerment of our women.
Happy to be a part of the Lui-Ngai-Ni celebrations in Ukhrul. It is not merely an honour, but an opportunity to join in celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Naga people. I bring the prayers and goodwill of Nagas from Nagaland in joining the great celebration.
During my recent visit to Gujarat, I had the opportunity to experience the Smritivan Earthquake Memorial and Museum in Bhuj and interact with the officials managing this remarkable institution. It is a world-class facility dedicated to the victims of the devastating 2001 Gujarat earthquake that struck on 26 January and claimed thousands of precious lives.
Every aspect of the museum and memorial park - its architecture, design, curation, exhibitions, and global recognitions - is truly outstanding. The thoughtful use of technology, the celebration of art, the solemn tribute to victims and responders, and the seamless blending of history, culture, and heritage are deeply inspiring. The overall experience reflects excellence and vision, and is something India can be truly proud of. Having visited similar institutions around the world, including in Kobe in Japan, this one stands out for its depth, dignity, and impact.
Most importantly, Smritivan has evolved into a powerful knowledge hub for all. A moment of immense tragedy has been transformed into a lasting asset for humanity - a platform for learning, reflection, and resilience. It is a must-visit for everyone, especially those engaged in disaster response and preparedness.
Kudos to the Disaster Management Department of Gujarat and the National Disaster Management Authority for creating this benchmark institution.
It was a pleasure to be part of the ceremony marking the handover of assets under Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. CSR initiative. I place on record the sincere appreciation of the State Government and the people of Nagaland for this thoughtful and impactful initiative.
Best wishes to all students appearing for the HSLC, and to HSSLC students whose examinations start tomorrow. May your preparation and hard work translate into success. I also extend my best wishes to @nbsenagaland for the smooth conduct of the examinations.
Had the pleasure of calling on Shri @HardeepSPuri, the Hon’ble Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, and discussed matters related to the development of the state and the North East Region.
Naga Cucumber was GI-tagged in 2021. Off-season cucumbers are included under this GI. Sown in winter using manure-heated pits, they are known for natural sweetness & soft texture. ATMA Mokokchung plays an important role in promoting this sustainable practice. #KnowYourGovernment
