@gangstakitties Would the AF consider injecting additional liquidity into the DeFi ecosystem? Will the market enter another cycle in which alt, including Algorand, experience appreciation? Could a quantum break occur that rapidly elevates the importance of quantum-secure blockchains? Who knows.

@gangstakitties We have yet to see the Project King safety paper, without that solution its a problem. We don't know how the landscape will change. Will we see regulatory clarity for the cryptocurrency industry? Will RWA adoption grow particularly on the Algorand blockchain, and what pace....

@gangstakitties The AF could keep a low base fee while introducing a fee component that scales based on computational resources used. Then figure out the distribution among validators, a burn mechanism to create mild deflationary pressure, and the Foundation or ecosystem fund. Maybe I'm wrong.

@gangstakitties They should prioritize completing the roadmap. This includes the full 10 billion token supply in circulation, maintaining the existing supply cap without uncapping it, improving the fee structure, and delivering quantum security as planned by 2027.

France just said it will stop certifying security products that aren't quantum-resistant starting in 2027.

The US is already fast-tracking post-quantum cryptography across federal systems.

Governments are preparing for Q-Day now, because migration takes years.

Algorand's quantum resilience roadmap targets broad implementation by the end of 2027. We're not waiting for Q-Day to show up.

Project King Safety Update:

• The King Safety Paper is being shared with the Ecosystem Advisory Council this month. This is the next step in a consultative process to refine our approach before the EAC shares it more broadly with the community.

• The Foundation is committing to extending its support for bonus staking rewards for another year (until January 2028) to allow the process to run its course and get to the best possible outcome for everyone.

• Now that the protocol is under Foundation control, we are making significant protocol changes to give us far more flexibility in how transactions are priced, from a bundled fixed 0.001 ALGO price to a decoupled model where pricing can depend more closely on resources being consumed and/or the type of transaction being executed.

• While the Foundation can propose changes to improve sustainability, any decision will need to be implemented through a consensus upgrade, which will require the support of 90+% of staked Algo.
