The lowest point was her shouting across the shop floor: "your wife is ashamed of you" because my wife tried to keep the peace. Shocking personal insults to throw at a family. Manager Zoe was fantastic and handled it well, but Deborah's behaviour was disgraceful.

Absolutely shocked by how my family and I were treated at @Matalan Gallions Reach yesterday evening. We spent over £220, but a staff member named Deborah completely lost her temper just because we politely asked for help at a main till to ensure security tags were removed

She wiggled her fingers in my face and loudly called me a "thief" over a policy issue we’d already dropped. When we asked about gift receipts, she accused us of being "difficult"—even though we dropped it to save her the hassle of printing them for all 17 items!
