@advocate_alakh Two students were arrested because you wanted to show your power. Now common men of this country will show their power. The end of Indian judiciary is just a matter of time.
I laughed hard after reading the fourth point.
Your so called CJI said, “A married woman is free to have sexual relations outside marriage”. He completely destroyed the Indian family system. And you call the judiciary a saviour? No wonder the whole system is corrupt including you
1. Two law students, Prabal Pratap Singh & Chander Bhan, ARRESTED for disrupting Supreme Court proceedings, using abusive language, and using force to obstruct an official in discharge of his duties.
2. That was much needed. Every attempt to intimidate the judiciary should be dealt with firmly.
3. No system is perfect, it should be our collective endeavour to make our systems perfect. However, attacks on the judiciary must not be encouraged. In particular, our law students and common litigants should refrain from such stunts for their own good.
4. History shows that the Indian judiciary has repeatedly acted as a true saviour of the common people of India. If today YOU suffer from executive or legislative excesses, your only hope may be the judiciary. Reform it, do not damage it.
So, we had formally written to @ThePrintIndia@ShekharGupta about the despicable opinion piece written by @DeShobhaa & carried by them, mocking murder of #KetanAgarwal
THIS IS THEIR REPLY
"External columnist who uses satirical tone to comment on topics of the day. All her columns adopt satire as a tool. Columnist clarify that nothing in the article has been invented"
I further asked Usha Uppal if they can share link to any article by Shobhaa De where she used satirical tone over murder or death of a woman and I am yet to receive her reply
So this platform is atleast agreeing that the opinion piece was a satire.
SATIRE OVER A COLD BLOODED MURDER
WHY? Because the victim is a man and perpetrator a woman. Ofcourse they haven't dared to carry a similar satire over tragic death of a woman ever because they know they'll be summoned by National Commission for women immediately & be cancelled in the Industry
But here they can get away. And they have. And they are brazen and unrelenting standing by a piece that is ludicrous, disrespectful to the dead and celebrating an alleged murderer.
I never received any response from @IndEditorsGuild
But I will not stop. We will escalate this until this sick article is taken down and an apology is issued.
A news platform isn't a ground for satirists to play mocking a murder.
