Major preparations completed at Shifa Hospital for Imran Khan’s medical stay.
Sources say a massive basement facility, spanning thousands of square feet, has been specially prepared at Shifa Hospital for the medical care of former Prime Minister @ImranKhanPTI
According to sources, Khan has already been brought to the hospital overnight for medical check-ups, “in and out”.
The specially secured area reportedly includes two separate medical rooms, a large media room and a massive waiting area, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology, furniture and surveillance systems.
The hospital is under considerable pressure over the sweeping changes being made to SOPs, access, parking and security protocols. Hospital staff and attendants are reportedly facing strict restrictions, (e.g outside food has also been prohibited).
According to sources, the hospital is now fully prepared to receive the former Prime Minister, with dedicated arrangements and security protocols in place.
⚠️Residents of Islamabad request a “Once For All” solution to end protests, demonstrations & Long March
Residents appeal to the Government of Pakistan and Law Enforcement Agencies to stop allowing protesters
to use Islamabad as a hub for protests, residents of the capital city are “sick to death” with protests and demonstrations, which result in the shutdown of the city for days
🟥Using data collected from previous protests, the proposed PTI long march in Islamabad on 27 September will cause significant disruption to the daily lives of residents, businesses, employees and schoolchildren. Large-scale protests, particularly those involving road blockages and traffic restrictions, will interfere with essential travel, limit access to public services and create considerable uncertainty for people who have no direct involvement in the political demonstration.
🟥Impact on general public: Residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi will face prolonged traffic congestion, road closures and diversions, making routine journeys, medical appointments and other essential activities difficult. Families will experience delays in reaching hospitals, while public transport users will face interruptions to their daily commute. The disruption will also restrict access to markets, shopping centres and other public facilities, leaving ordinary citizens to bear the inconvenience of a protest they may not be participating in.
Impact on businesses and the local economy: Businesses across Islamabad will suffer financial losses due to reduced customer footfall, transport difficulties and interruptions to normal trading activities. Shops, restaurants, hotels, markets and small businesses will experience fewer customers as people avoid congested areas. Delivery services and supply chains will also face delays, affecting the movement of goods and the timely fulfilment of orders. For small business owners, even a single day of reduced trading will mean lost revenue, while a prolonged protest will place additional pressure on already struggling businesses.
🟥Impact on employees & the workforce: Thousands of employees will face difficulties reaching their workplaces on time, with road closures and traffic congestion resulting in missed working hours, reduced productivity and lost wages for daily-paid workers. Employees travelling from Rawalpindi and surrounding areas will experience particularly difficult commutes. Businesses that depend on staff being physically present will face operational challenges, while workers will be forced to spend additional time and money on alternative transport arrangements. The burden of the disruption will fall on ordinary working people trying to earn a living and fulfil their professional responsibilities.
🟥Impact on schoolchildren & the education sector: Schoolchildren will face disrupted journeys, late arrivals and difficulties returning home safely. Parents will be forced to rearrange their working hours or make alternative childcare arrangements if transport routes become inaccessible or schools alter their schedules. Any interruption to school attendance will affect lessons, examinations & other scheduled educational activities. The uncertainty surrounding road closures and security arrangements will also cause anxiety among parents concerned about their children's safety and ability to travel.
🟥Impact on public order & essential services: A large-scale march will require substantial security deployments, traffic management and road restrictions. If the situation escalates or the protest extends beyond the planned date, disruption will become more prolonged, placing additional pressure on emergency services, public transport and local administration. Ultimately, the consequences will extend far beyond the political participants themselves. Ordinary citizens, business owners, employees, parents and schoolchildren will all be affected by disruptions to their daily routines, livelihoods and access to essential services
Patriarchy is so deeply rooted that WOMEN can walk into someone else's house as guests and still somehow end up in the kitchen.
While the MEN even from the host family get to sit back, relax, chill, enjoy the food, and talk about how much they sacrifice for their families. 🙄

Love Dar-e-Nijaat but I wish Pakistani dramas would stop romanticising the idea of women being saved by men. No man is coming to save you. You have to save & heal yourself. Don’t jump from one relationship to another hoping someone will heal you. They can’t. Be your own healer.
