@BridgeAubert For detective stories, leave enough space between major events for the reader to stew over the details. Comedy is more fast-paced but slowing down enough for the reader to be excited for new revelations and make predictions is important.
I’ve been on YouTube since it started and every year @KEEMSTAR gets more of my respect. Hate him or love him, he’s one of the most consistent and intelligent content creators. Hands down, bar none.
People who haven’t played the game won’t care, but after spending well over 100hrs with that game, it’s hard not to notice the difference. Especially when everyone else in the cast is more or less nailing it.
Late take: Bella Ramsay was awful as Ellie in #TLOU episode 4. Her line delivery is rushed and has no nuance. Ashley Johnson’s voice performance is leagues better.
I was a little jaded about #ToyStory 4 but thought it was fine despite kicking a little dust into the ending of 3 and feeling less focused. Toy Story 5 though? I’m not sure that they can write a story I’ll like.
Everything is uneven, from the plot’s pacing to the characters themselves, and it attempts to be meta in the way She-Hulk does wherein it insults it’s audience for having reasonable expectations.
