@Dacidbro The only case I can make for this rule is that it's possible that not all setups will have her, making it hard for Ingrid players to find a setup they can play on at the moment
@CelsiusNK@the_lost_avatar Does the entirety of Melee's technical execution collapses on a button remap? Is the execution the one thing that pushes two players to interact?
Melee's a lot more than that, and I think the high execution floor to play prevents most players from seeing its colors.
@kbryanw@FelineEntity Blue's a fair answer, it's empathic and it's not unreasonable to believe that half of all people would press blue for the same reasons.
@SLupine6818 I would like you to take a moment and compare the amount of gun violence and gun related deaths in countries that have strict gun laws and countries that don't. Scale it per capita if you need.
@sawyer06221@AndrewAJT Yeah, one of the big arguments was that it was uninteractive and was vastly disliked by viewers and spectators. From a balance point of view, there is no reason to ban it. People juste hate Ice Climbers lmao
@sawyer06221@AndrewAJT The amount of Ice Climbers players were already incredibly scarce in local communities, and even after the wobbling ban, most of them just adjusted and got their results back within a few months of more invested practice in dair resets and handoffs instead.
@clusterbitch_@_ArchyAI_@TrueSlazac@Babbucciol I'd argue that's not true. The overwhelming majority of coworkers in art and tech I've worked with are expressing heavy concern for the future of their career due to that technology. I'd argue shipping art for AAA titles is not failing at life.
@TrueSlazac@Babbucciol I want to do the work. I want to write the code. I want to build the documentation. I want to draw the concept arts of characters. I want to narrate and voice act for promotional videos and multimedia content.
This is why people despise it. It's taking away the work they *want*.
@TrueSlazac One possible argument is that the big AI businesses are selling their services at a massive loss in an attempt to get other companies hooked onto their product, so they cut back on salaries and employees and now depend on AI. Then, they raise the prices and profit.
@AshenOne38286@LocalBtnMasher It really, really depends on what you're making and how you want it to feel. Having moving hitboxes can make your experience more accurate to what the user is seeing, but it can also feel a bit clunky and less responsive if your animations are slower, the weapon is too small, etc
@ElAzulDelRio@rs_p1m@SuperKawaiiDesu That's sweet! Unfortunately lazy and fails to address the real issues with their combo system, but better than nothing
@xmarkusx92 @Ephi_BL If you time it just right, you can get the second hit to not come out, as Akali touches the ground before the animation can fully follow-up, on block and hit. Labbed just now to make sure! So maybe there's a mix there, but it may be fuzziable.
@xmarkusx92 @Ephi_BL Probably not reactable, but OSable for sure since the low probably comes in slower than the second hit of the high, in the same way people OS safejumps -> empty safejump low -> empty safejump throw in other FGs with high block -> low block -> delay tech.
