Theatre assistants marched on the CEO yesterday to demand backpay till 2020 and parity pay with HCA’s for undertaking clinical duties 🥳🥳🥳

Band 2 theatres staff are still in good spirits, despite the chief executive of @LeedsHospitals failing to commit to anything at a meeting today.

Other band 2 staff have been rebanded and received back pay to acknowledge the work they do. Theatres staff deserve the same! ✊

It was great to see theatre assistants and fluoroscopy assistants at Leeds Teaching Hospitals gather for the UNISON regrading launch meeting earlier today.

They've voted to form an organising committee and launch a petition to ask for the back pay that they deserve ✊

For those outside the UK, that's a place where the British public, particularly low income or disadvantaged communities, get free legal advice and support.
