Will this Paryushan-observing fraudster be spared any leniency?
Eating meat and fish is unacceptable to them, but selling adulterated food items that pose severe health hazards is absolutely fine?

@pkpani1@SubrotoSkills With due respect, there is no “Odisha formula” for Karnataka to follow. Karnataka is already a national leader in technology, innovation and institution-building. Let’s welcome the expertise, but give credit where it’s due and avoid creating a narrative that simply isn’t there.
I spoke at the protest held at Freedom Park in Bengaluru today, condemning the FIR registered by the Uttarakhand Police against Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Shri @RahulGandhi.
Shri Rahul Gandhi has committed no wrongdoing. The case registered against him is a grave injustice.
In Uttarakhand, the place where AICC President Shri Mallikarjun @kharge delivered a speech was subjected to a so-called “purification” ritual. Shri Rahul Gandhi merely questioned this shameful act. Yet, instead of taking action against those who carried out such a discriminatory practice, a case has been registered against him.
The very act of “purifying” a place after a Dalit leader has spoken there is an affront to the Constitution. Our Constitution abolishes untouchability and leaves no room for such casteist practices. Those who indulge in such acts should be held accountable under the law.
This was not merely an insult to Shri Mallikarjun Kharge. By registering an FIR against Shri Rahul Gandhi for questioning it, the authorities have also insulted the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha.
What exactly is Rahul Gandhi’s crime? He merely questioned an act of discrimination. Yet a case has been filed against him. This is deeply condemnable.
Under the Constitution, action must be taken against those who practise untouchability and discrimination. Instead, with clear political malice, the BJP-led establishment has chosen to target the person who raised his voice against it.
It appears that the BJP has decided to silence Shri Rahul Gandhi at any cost. This is not the first time. Earlier too, when Shri Rahul Gandhi criticised the Union Government, cases were filed against him and his membership of Parliament was even disqualified. He eventually secured relief through the courts.
Shri Rahul Gandhi stands for the Constitution and against untouchability, caste discrimination and injustice. The BJP, driven by a Manuvadi mindset, continues to act against the very values enshrined in our Constitution.
The BJP has proved itself unfit to remain in power and has repeatedly shown its disregard for the spirit and values of the Constitution. The FIR against Shri Rahul Gandhi is a grave injustice and cannot be tolerated. There must be a strong statewide democratic protest against this action.
We stand firmly with Shri Rahul Gandhi. We will stand with him in his fight to defend the Constitution, equality and social justice, and strengthen his hands in this struggle.

This Newly Married Couple Bhavya and Dhruvi Shah, who were married on 27 June
Joined a 30-Day Spiritual Austerity (Jain Fasting for a month= no food for 30 days except boiled water ) Instead of Going on Their Honeymoon
As the record-breaking 1,062 devotees are observing Maskhaman (30 days jain upwas) Tap in Mulund are set to perform their Parna tomorrow, let us meet some of the remarkable individuals participating in this spiritual observance and learn more about this unique and extraordinary
During the Chaturmas period, followers of Jainism observe various forms of austerities and vows. Among these, Maskhaman Tap is considered one of the most rigorous forms of penance. A newly married Jain couple from Talaja has undertaken this difficult austerity. This Jain family’s spiritual practice, originally from Talaja and now permanently settled in Mulund, has drawn the attention and appreciation of Jain families living in Mumbai as well as across India and abroad.
There are two Jain families in Talaja who have been known to each other for nearly three generations. Bhavya, son of Hiteshbhai of P.M. Pedhi, and Dhruvi, daughter of Milanbhai of the Nanavati family, were married approximately one month ago.
Although financially well-settled and enjoying every comfort in life, Bhavya and Dhruvi chose not to go on a honeymoon or sightseeing trip after their marriage. Instead, they jointly decided to undertake the rigorous Maskhaman Tap. Their family members also joined and supported them in this spiritual austerity.
Explaining Maskhaman Tap, Chinubhai Nanavati said that during this austerity, only boiled water may be consumed between sunrise and sunset. From sunset until sunrise the following day, nothing whatsoever may be consumed. In this manner, for an entire month, the devotees sustain themselves only on boiled water during the daytime.
This Jain couple from Talaja, who chose the path of austerity and renunciation instead of worldly enjoyment and luxury immediately after their marriage, is being widely praised as an exceptionally courageous and spiritually committed couple.
Heartfelt and repeated Anumodana (appreciation and spiritual rejoicing) to both of you for choosing such a life of renunciation and spiritual discipline.

If the choice was between death or becoming a sex slave for conquerors and a concubine in their harems, several women chose former. Some women may choose latter. However, they used their agency- whether one agrees or disagrees with can be debated but it was a choice. A choice that a woman made.
Deal with it.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has taken a compassionate decision to allow police dogs to remain with the police force even after retirement.
A police dog retires after completing 10 years of service. Previously, retired police dogs were often given up for adoption elsewhere, which could adversely affect their mental well-being, with some even refusing to eat.
Fadnavis said a dog that has served the police force for 10 years should not be made to suffer after retirement. He emphasised that such animals should be cared for and allowed to spend the rest of their lives comfortably.
Under the new decision, police dogs will retire from active duty after 10 years but will continue to remain with the police force and their handlers. The Home Department will bear the expenses for their food and other associated requirements. The decision aims to ensure the welfare of retired police dogs while preserving their bond with their handlers.

Couple of Semiconductor Engineers from Bengaluru, wanted to do something different, build a processor chip that wouldn't use
- "ARM Architecture Chips" (used by Apple, Qualcomm, Samsung) &
- "x86 Architecture Chips" (used by Intel, AMD, Meta, Google) in computer processing.
The reason why our personal computers are so costly are because both the ARM & x86 Chips are highly licenced and involves massive royalties to be used by any small scale player.
For their EdgeAI Processing they start to build a small form factor device that used
- "RISC-V Architecture Chip" (developed by University of Berkley & open sourced for the good of mankind)
Priyank Kharge, the IT Minister who always has an open eye for any new technology that solves real-life problem, is immediately impressed by the efforts of these engineers, his vision then takes it a step above, gets involved in design & real-life form factor of the device.
& that was how the "World's Most Affordable AI PC & Made in Karnataka - KEO" was born.
For Context, Govt of Karnataka pays 300+ Crores an year as licensing fees to Microsoft, because they run only on x86 Arch Chips.
KEO
- built on Free & Open Source RISC-V Chip, (instead of high cost x86/ARM Chips)
- runs on Free & Open Source Linux Ubuntu, (instead of high license cost of Windows)
- features Free & Open Source Libre Office (instead of high licence cost of MS Office)
KEO was subjected to rigorous testing by Scientists at IISC, IIIT, who passed it with flying colours.
This single device, revolutionises the access to computing, acting as a game changer in providing access to AI Computing to Rural & Poor Kids.
Priyank didn't really stop there, he ensured the production price of the product is kept below INR 18,999. Despite the global increase in RAM Costs. Gets an NGO to purchase 2,000+ Devices & get them distributed to thousands of government schools across the state. And all of this happened under past one year.
Those 2 engineers, who wanted to challenge the monopoly, may have actually broken it today.
These are the success stories that are born when you elect good & intelligent people to power.
No minister in India can say that they have taken a step towards democratising access to computing at grassroots. But, only @PriyankKharge can.
Because, he did & has delivered.
