@tausi_ @MarthaAhumuza This might be a hot take but I think *most* women are with men for the sex (even if it’s bad), but the connective nature of sex gives women a false sense of reciprocal love, romance, etc. if they stopped having sex with men they’d realize they don’t like them all that much

@awkblksquirrel @hifortesa I know someone who had it with her first husband and was violently ill and had to be hospitalized, her husband tragically passed away before her son turned 1. She remarried when he was 4. And got pregnant with another boy and was also violently sick enough to be hospitalized

@ulxma To add to your point, men are less likely to be flexible with this, although they do eventually “settle”, and will 100% feel like they did even if they don’t act on it and are generally good to their partners. Women will “settle”, but not feel like they did.
