I'm still here.
I'm not sure what to do with #ASofterSpace ; I think a draw would be data export, so I'm wrenching on that.
Hopefully we can figure out a format/package which makes it easy to reread saved chats.
Which reminds me — the UI needs adjusting in a few spots, too @_@
Question: how do you pronounce CQL?
Is it `see-quel`, or `see-cue-elle`?
context: CQL is a query language developed at @Confluence; it's used when querying against their APIs.

Honestly feels a bit like drinking from a firehouse, but I'm pretty excited ^^
I thanked the responder and I'm looking forward to sending them an update, and like
Because it was public, everyone in that channel hopefully learned something neat :)
ugh I love learning in public
In my Discord server, I made a post describing syntax for an esolang I want to build one day
I received a response that mentioned EBNF and antlr4 and how it's useful for checking parsing rules and I was like oh snap I didn't know this was a thing

So if I have time sometime this week I'll try to formally describe the grammar and transpile source in this esolang to Typescript, to see where I need to tweak things to make it practical3
@defiantnecro 🦄 time :D (Lathiel)
- there are no rules against lifelink voltron
- want stompies? just attack ^^
- don't just go wide, go deeeep with counters
...but Queza 🦑 tho:
- Esper burn??
- interactions, interactions, interactions
- Peer into the Abyss yourself for fun and profit
I'll set up a repo with documentation on our lesson plans, as a record of where we started and what we build together. It'll also serve as a sort of living lesson plan for anyone else who wants to learn from scratch ^^
My gf has an interest in programming, so lately we've been working together to structure a learning program that's tailored to teach from scratch. Like, reasoning from first principles, software/hardware basics, data structures, etc.
With her permission, I'll tweet about what we study and the progress she makes. I'm also gonna encourage her to set up a GitHub account and join some programming Discord servers, espesh if she falls in love with the craft.
