1. Yes, EC, because it cleaned the roll( removed dead, duplicate votes who were used by TMC as ghost voters)

It ensured that no chappa in this election.

2. CAPF- yes, because they ensured the electors in WB for the first time could exercise their franchise without any fear!

I have all the regard for @KapilSibal,sir. However, what he is claiming is nowhere present in the SLP filed by AITC. In fact, in very clear words, they have prayed before the SC to restrian the ECI from implementing the very circular, which he is claiming he wanted ECI to follow.

Randomise that as well... The Supreme Court noted that we were challenging the circular there, but we clarified that we are not challenging the circular anymore. We are saying that it should be implemented... Now we have hope. The Supreme Court said, and this is an order, that the EC will follow the circular issued by them both in letter and spirit... What is written is that there will be a nominee from the state government and a nominee from the central government... The mainstream media that is running it is saying that our petition has been dismissed. This is completely wrong... give them the right information..."

@RURALINDIA Haha. Why do you guys pat each other back? TMC came challenging the ECI's circular now when they saw that their face is getting burnt. They suddenly started demanding that ECI follow the circular, which they challenged and prayed for setting aside.

What #Altnews won't tell you is that the issue of #machine-readable #electoralroll has already been dealt by the Hon'ble SC in Kamal Nath v. ECI, (2019) 2 SCC 260 and the current format is as per the existing Manual, which has also been upheld by the SC.
