If quoting Scripture can be treated as hate speech, that’s a problem.

There’s been a lot of discussion around laws in Canada that could allow certain parts of the Bible to be considered harmful depending on how they’re expressed. That’s not something people should just brush off.

Freedom of belief should include the ability to speak about those beliefs openly. Once that starts getting restricted, it affects more than just one group.

At the same time, how faith is lived out matters. It shouldn’t be used to attack people or tear others down. But choosing to live by and speak on what you believe shouldn’t be treated like wrongdoing either.

The Bible itself speaks to this:

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 3:16

Calling something hate doesn’t automatically make it hate. And trying to silence it doesn’t make it go away.

This kind of direction isn’t okay.

Tiredness has a way of creeping in by the afternoon. But Galatians 6:9 reminds us: “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

God sees your effort, even when no one else does. Harvest is coming; you may not see it yet, but He promises it’s on the way.

Keep sowing. Keep believing. Keep moving forward.
