@libevm Yes. The tracer is added as a new internal tracer so that you can call “debug.traceCall” with “tracer: ‘feeTracer’”
Since it’s not being called on a hot path it’s ok. It’s building a cache that will be called for information.
@libevm I always just use the pre-compiled release from the repository and never had any issues on an aws gpu instance. Getting that thing to compile there is another story tho… 😅
@0xwired Yeah i3 can be a total pain while setting up. I just recently re-rolled to Manjaro i3 and it works wonderfully right out of the box. Was rolling with manjaro XFCE before and can’t complain. Never looked back to Ubuntu or stuff. Maybe give it a try 🥶
@EdgarArout Did you manage to get it running? I mean integrating evmc was pretty straight forward, now it’s only fiddling around to get it to load with evmone because of the protocol changes.
But to keep it short, was the effort worth it in the end? Especially in regards to trace
