@laurenancona I love reading about your experience with #Trixiebago. We own a Vanagon and I’ve had to do some extensive upgrades to keep it on the road. So many tasks (especially electrical) are difficult, but they become less daunting.
@whiteryanc @bikeshopgirlcom I’m becoming alright with it. I’m hoping to mtb with friends 4-6 times a summer a few times on my 5+ yr old plus bike and the rest will be on a fun rental. I don’t think I’ll ever justify spending 2/3k+ on a bike again.
@StrikeDebt I was assured that 'they' can see all my payments, even though on my end it shows there was 'no bill due at this time.' Why can't they show them to me? I am being forced into forbearance, where interest will be charged (they won't screw that up), despite making 120+ payments.
@BikeThisCity I’m surprised no one has mentioned @RideGG, they’re local, which is awesome to me. I mtb less than 5-10 hours/yr and rode a friends Pedal Head once and almost bought it from him. Starts at 3k, so priced similar to big brands- https://t.co/aYJ6r01OkG
@chipkalback I’m struggling with the same thing, I’ve kept a resort job for almost 20 years so my family could ski for almost ‘free’. I’ll ski eldora tomorrow afternoon with my 3 yr-old and it’ll be the best ski day our lives again. I just hope there’s 25-50 more of them in the next 15 years.
@JFredBeck2 @NoSquish@WarrenJWells Class 3 and yep, it’s primary use is commuting. If I’m riding for fun I’m usually with friends and trying to pedal hard.
@NoSquish @JFredBeck2 @WarrenJWells 28mph has allowed me to ebike commute from Edgewater to Centennial and now Broomfield, I think it’s too fast for normal path use but so much safer when I have to mix with traffic.
@melpiana@EngineerDustin@HumanElectricHy I chose class 3, and will probably choose it for our second. The ability to accelerate closer to 30mph is more comfortable on the roads with 30-40mph speed limits that I can’t avoid.
@Seyth On the street? Sometime after you teach them about the consequences of their mistakes, especially on vulnerable road users. If they're on the track, maybe 5?
