With the Immer Reading System, reading platforms massively improve their reading experience. Winner Renew the Book 2021 & ContentShift 2022. NL: @immer_app
We’re happy to share that Immer is collaborating with @vpro and @in10 on the online book club ‘Club Lees’, in which you can read a book together each month for free. The app is available now, so download it quickly and start reading! (How's your Dutch?) https://t.co/jkEyg7oBzC
In case you were wondering how I pay the bills: it has slowed down a little, but I've done a ton of videography work over the last decade plus. Here are some screens from my latest work for @immer_en, which I finished yesterday. Pretty happy with how it turned out.
This summer, we released v1.0 of our Reading Experience SDK, the software development kit at the heart of the Immer Reading System. With this SDK, any app developer can enrich their reading app with the world’s best reading experience.

An incredible group of Dutch reading scientists and partners like schools just received a large government grant to study reading development among children of all ages under the influence of digital tools for the next 8 years. Immer is proud to be part of this consortium!
What especially excites us about this project is that it's not just about theory and observation; scientific insights will be used to actually build and test software that will directly lead to measurably improved digital reading in The Netherlands and beyond!
@jelleprins We’re creating the hardest part of this: a true mobile-native 21st century reading experience. Device and app makers can license our tech. They’re welcome to get in touch!
At Immer we use reading research and innovative technology and design to help digital reading platforms with a much better way of reading. Watch our introduction video: https://t.co/lajzqxLPWQ
After 2.5 years of loyal service we took the first (Dutch) Immer app offline yesterday after it'd already been removed from app stores. As planned, but still a bummer! This is not the end of Immer though, we are not done improving digital reading at all! https://t.co/W7upEAviOv
We launched a new website for @immer_en telling the story of our B2B proposition: any institution or company that offers digital long-form reading to their customers in some shape or form, can now do so with the world's best reading experience, made by Immer.
We're shifting focus with @immer_en, making the classic pivot from B2C to B2B. Playing to our strengths by focusing on tech and design, while leaving the readers to our customers. This way we'll spread far more reading joy with our superior reading experience!
Maryanne Wolf's 'Reader, Come Home: The Reading Brain in a Digital World' keeps coming up in conversations, especially with reading researchers and reading promotors, and now Dutch national newspaper De Volkskrant published an interview with Wolf.

The 'Boekenweek' (Dutch week of the book) kicks off this Saturday, so yesterday @joevanburik and @ikbenechtben asked me to talk about @immer_en on @BNRTech! (The item starts at around the 31 minute mark, and is in Dutch.) https://t.co/HUrZ7spFZQ
