The kids on the flight with me that day were oblivious to the discrimination- they chatted excitedly among themselves, the one beside me merrily picked his nose- yet that juice I ordered had a hard time going down my throat ): #migrantchildren #refugees #curdledmilkofkindness

Who sits where and decides that children escaping whatever and seeking refuge in the west, children who have lost their home and maybe families, children who might've seen war and suffering, do not deserve juice and yoghurt and toothpaste and blankets and the milk of kindnesss

I think they couldn't even get tea or yoghurt or something silly. We know how much food is wasted on air. Would it have killed the airline/ flight attendants to have given them some juice? Some tea? Some yoghurt?
